Meet Jodi

Jodi Burgart, M.Ed, BCBA, Owner

I’m Jodi, owner of Mindful Me Playhouse and Mindful Me Behavioral Support. I’m a creative entrepreneur whose brain is always whirling with the next idea.

With more than twenty years of experience in early childhood education and behavioral support, I’ve taught in classrooms, trained educators, and guided schools. I’ve developed programs, led teams, and now run two companies that support children, families, and educators. I love bringing practical experience and evidence-based expertise to everything I do.

I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with a Master’s in Early Childhood Special Education, a Bachelor’s in Psychology, and a yoga teacher certification. I’m deeply connected to our community and currently serve on the Boards of Directors for Focused Kids and Mt. Sopris Montessori. I believe strongly in values-driven business, which allows me to stay true to our mission: creating a community-centered space.

At our playhouse, I get to be fully myself. I love designing engaging activities, thoughtful classes, inviting play zones, and a beautiful, regulating environment. Most of all, I want every person who walks through our doors to feel like they belong.

Meet Mike

Mike Burgart, Owner

I’m the “man behind the curtain” at Mindful Me Playhouse, keeping everything running smoothly—from our systems and operations to the little details that make our space feel welcoming. But I’m not just behind the scenes; I love to pop in and play whenever I can!

Play and parent support have always been central to my life. Growing up ski racing on the East Coast, I experienced firsthand how connection, creativity, and encouragement help kids build confidence and resilience. That foundation shaped my deep belief in the power of play—not just as fun, but as a vital part of growth, learning, and self-discovery. I spent years coaching young skiers on the East Coast and now teach at Snowmass, where I get to share my love of skiing while helping kids gain confidence on the slopes.

With degrees in Biology and Medical Technology, I bring a unique blend of science, structure, and curiosity to the playhouse. I design systems and routines that support both children and parents, creating a space where everyone can thrive.

My wife, Jodi, and I are committed to creating a welcoming, creative space where every person feels like they belong.
